Yeah man that was a great time for sure! That optimator hits you fast! We were going to take even more pictures but it usually ended up like, "do you want to take pics? Haha yah, my cat owned Matt a couple times. I was gonna wait until MAtt got down to do a Xiphos picstory, but then when it came around, we did way too much stuff to take pics of. It would have made the site explode.

BTW, where do you run the cat in the signal chain? Before the amp as a boost, or in the loop for some unique fx?

Ryan had Kichi at the tail of the chain but I found when I stepped on it there was this crazy hissing going on! I'm a nerd... That wasn't even all of the guitars, my Thorn Jr 90 was sitting safe at home... couldn't fit everything in the trunk and knowing I'd have to stop somewhere during the 7+ hour trip I wasn't comfortable having guitar cases sitting out in the open in the back seat since my windows have no tint!

I know what you mean. My Death Warrior case was on show all the way up to Scotland, and I was nervous as hell every time I stopped and had to leave the car unattended. I mean, sure I could replace the guitar with the insurance money if it was stolen, but I could never replace the history of it. You can't exactly get the first neck-through 7 from the Jackson CS built more than once.

Yeah exactly and on top of that it was #9 out of the original 10 produced, Ron has cancelled any future production of the Junior 90 model for the time being AND the one I have is easily the best-sounding out of the first 20 made. I had the chance to play all 20 of them over the course of 3 days and Ron didn't tell me which one was mine until after I played them all! Something like that just can't be replaced.
