Recommendations for a rack mounted power conditioner?

I've seen a lot of folks with Furman power conditioners, but I don't rightly know what the best one is to protect against surges/spikes/dodgy venue current. Brands don't mean a great deal to me, I'm just interested in performance.
Would be greatly appeciated to hear about people's preferences when protecting/powering their rack gear. Is a load level of 10 Amp overkill to run a 6-8 space rack? Compressor/Tuner/EQ/Modeler etc.

I'm running a Phonic PPC 9000 E, runs fantastically for me, highly recommended, 8 switched outlets and 1 non switched, two rack lights, and 10A fuse.

Ah cool, thanks. Looks good. Love the slide-out dimmer lights.

Decipher is a jewel in the rough
I don't run alot of rack gear (just a ISP Decimator Pro Rack G) but I've been using the Furman Power Factor Pro R for about 4 years now and it's been great! Initially a bit pricy, but it really helped clean up the power, and protect from sags and spikes.

IMO, the best unit to protect and get the best performance out of your rig would be the Furman AR-15 II Voltage Regulator. I'm currently saving up for one myself.

Thanks for the info guys. The shop where I teach can only stock the Phonic, so to still get a discount (yeah, I'm a tight bastard) I might just stick with that. Both Furman and Samson look like they're packed with features and higher load ratings so I might have to look into them later on for a larger rack I have planned. Thanks again!

Auyard is on a distinguished road
What would be an inexpensive power conditioner, something less than $200 dollars but still of good quality.
