![]() ![]() | Wah wah pedal shoot out - I'm trying to decide between these wahs, maybe you guys can help? Dunlop 535q -£89.00 ![]() Morley Bad Horsie 2 - £99.00 ![]() Morley Power Wah - £60.00 ![]() Just as a note, I've owned a ZW wah before and didn't really get on with, all I could get out of the thing was that type of wah sound zakk uses and it was too aggressive for what I needed. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You might also wanna check out the Morely 'Tremonti' wah, a guitarist I was working with had one and it sounded really very good. 'Excuse me while I adjust my pants, and dance the good time dance'![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I'd get any of the Artec wah, they are cheap, very good sounding, and almost indestructible due to the use of a magnetic pot (almost unbreakable) Bloody Murder #5 |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Two questions: 1) Do you want a wah that is auto on/off? 2) Do you want a more modern sound or a more classic sound? I really like the dunlop and vox wahs as they're not over the top, plus you can select different sounds to taste, the dimebag one has ridiculous options from over the top to classic sounding. Dunlop is a nice wah if you just want to slam your foot and go. I got one and ever since none of my other ones have had a look in. Not good if you want to use the wah as a filter though. Morley ones, no idea, i had one 15 years ago, but got into vox wah pedals, but apparently the tremonti is good. No idea about the bad horsie wah though |

I voted for the Bad Horsie. Excellent wah, makes absolutely NO noise (unlike CryBabys AM radio impersonation) and no switches to turn it on and off (And the time delay is adjustable.) Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance only hides the truth. And the longer that truth has to hide, the more it stings when it makes itself known. http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/gen...ml#post1166807 Buy my sunglasses! ![]() | |

![]() ![]() | I voted Bad Horsie... I've got a Bad Horsie 2 on order, I love the concept of the switchless design, and it just seems to have that thick tone I'm after unlike the Crybaby which I found a bit thin sounding... |
