Because the DD-20 isn't just 1 unit, it's 2 units built into 1. Better control i'd say, but y'know more cubersome to carry, I guess.

I need a new delay pedal; my Digitech has seen its last leg. I've gone through 3!! of these things, and I don't pound my pedals or anything. After a while, they all started getting this weird squealing sound and cut in and out.

I love its sound, but I'm sold on Boss's proven reliability to withstand and maintain functionality. Sorry Digitech.

^^^boo digitech x-series. had a hot rod distortion and digidelay die under me, both during rehearsals, both with a month of purchase. boo.
I like the sound of the DD7, with 6 1/2 seconds on tap that could be a decent half-served looper!
