the price is less because they sell direct. if Vaders were available at your local guitar center (or any other store), they would be a grand or more. as far as them being "better" than anything else, that's for your ears to decide. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | plus they dont have a name behind them, like mesa or marshall. they are primarily for metal players. I'v played a 4x12 and must say, for metal, these cabs are the best IMO. Unbelievabley loud, but clear and articulate. the bass didnt drown out the highs and mids. if you were going to be doing cleans in there, i probably wouldnt always go with a vader, but if your playing metal, i'd always go with a vader |

![]() | is there info on the wood used- and the speakers used as well? For instance the krank cabs are made like shit- and only sound good for El34 applications, given the speakers used. Mesa Vin30s are great but not as clear or punchy as other speakers. |

![]() | yeah, i'm a little leary (if thats how you spell it) about using anything but Celestion V30's, since thats what i've always played, but everyone seems to like these amps for metal, and i have yet to hear anything bad about them |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I only have a 2x12... and trust me, I'm never putting my money anywhere else but with Vader when it comes to cabs. I have lots of practicing to do over the summer, and if I'm successful in what I want to achieve I'm getting myself a 4x12 for encouragement (and because I want one so bad). I cannot say anything bad about Vader... period. ![]() |
