you can get an ATA case custom built to fit just about anything, from a number of companies.

I always bring protection, but aren't these cabs built so that the cases aren't all that imperative???

unless you're doing a world tour, a road case like that is totally unnecessary IMO. and yes, Vaders are built like tanks. i've seen a Vader full stack topple over a 3 or 4 foot stage, and survive to finish the next 2 days of a 3 day fest. the Mesa Dual Rec that was on top of them didn't do so well though

i still really want to try a Vader cab out someday. I just love my mesa 4x12 cab and my engl 4x12 cab a ton and i would hate to part with either. it would be cool to try out some different speakers for once.

the vaders are so cost effective and sound so good that i don't care about getting a nick or 10 on them, in 10 years you'll see a bunch of vader cabs that look like old beat up marshalls.

can anyone describe why they are better though- I have heard good things as well- however, for the price it's hard to believe- that it's that much better. The VHT P50 cab is by far my favorite cab so far- and they're hella expensive. Not saying everything must cost a ton- but with guitar equipment - you get what you pay for- so does this cab really compete with the Uberkab and the other well known /more expensive 4x12's or is money playing a factor. I only ask- cause who doesn't want more for less?
