I've been using an Ernie Ball VP JR. volume pedal for 3 years and recently it's been letting signal go straight through it at the setting that normally cuts off the signal! Does this mean that the potentiometer needs to be replaced???

Hi Starstormer.

Indeed. I once owned one of these pedals. I wish I had kept it. I experience the same problem at one stage. The potentiometer most likely needs replacing. In the meantime, you could probably spray some WD40 into it, to see if that would clean it a little.

No problem at all!

I think I just worked it out...its that little weighing scales icon in the bottom left corner of a post.

Im new here...still getting used to it!
