![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If you put this in your effects loops, never boost the gain (with the mxr 10band anyway), put it at zero or below. But I can use mine to mimic other amps. Take an amp with a very quick preamp/powersection (say a triple rec), and use "points" (adjust these, then slope the other sliders up/down, depending on the other points. A general knowledge of how amps eqs work ala shelving, notching, ect helps) Using the 62.5, 500hz, 4khz and 8khz, you can mimic a mark IV. The 125hz, 1-2khz (both are crucial), and the 4khz, you can get more engl-ish sound. Again, this WONT SOUND EXACTLY LIKE a ______, but more of a pushing your sound slightly in the direction of ____ (insert amp). |
