Herbert owners, quick question.....

Can I use a standard midi-board to change channels? I'm using a hired Herbert next weekend but it doesn't come with a footswitch.

what midi-pedal do you have? i know that there are some issues with a few pedals and the people moded them (e.g: engl z12 has wrong polarity) and at 90% the phantom-power will not work.

i know that, for example, nobels mf-1 and mf-2 work perfect without any changes to be made..if you can get one of them.

EDIT:

what i want to say is: every midi-pedal will work, but not everyone will support the phantom-power-supply of the herbert, so better bring your own power supply which fits to pedal.

Excellent, thank you. I'm not too worried about whether it's powered or not as I use a couple of pedals at the front of the stage. I'll just have to make sure I've got another euro-adapter with me. Cheers.
