Cabinet Emulator Question

Hi all,
I've been considering getting a cabinet emulator for my MP-1. I know that ADA made two different ones - Microcab I and Microcab II.

I don't know really the difference between the two, so if any knows please speak up. I researched it all last night and came up with nothing.

I'd like something that I can tweak. My Digitech GNX4 does cabinet emulation and there are several parameters that you can tweak to dial in the emulation that you like. That's what I would like...something I can tweak on.

The Microcabs provide this, but I haven't seen another option that is currently being made that you can tweak on like that. So, another option I've been considering is buying a cheap Digitech RP effects pedal and using only the cabinet emulator in there. My next question is has anyone used a cheap modeler for this purpose only and not for any additional effects?

Thanks in advance!

No, the RP series is bad. If you are using this for recording, try cab impulses.

Thanks, but I definitely don't want anything that's plugin or software based. I'd like to have something that's connected between the preamp and my multitrack recorder. Definitely something that I can change cabinet models and tweak the controls. That's why I was thinking of a cheap RP pedal. My GNX4 has creat sounding models, but I have no idea what they sound like coming out of a RP.

Anybody?
