I didnt sell it, but i missed out on an old brunetti (pretty sure at them now) that i think was an evo, for 600 at a pawnshop. thought it was overpriced when you could get a crate stack for that

I lost out on a trade on my RGT recently (got ripped )
Never shoulda got rid of it. Shoulda just upgraded the wares and painted it and such. that shit was soo comfy

I sold my black, emg, transtrem equipped GM series steinberger (bound black body, carbon neck) for..... $500. I needed the cash to buy one of the first RG7620's as my first seven. I dont' feel TOO bad because I actually bought it originally for 250 bucks off my old guitar teacher who was using it as a doorstop. I'm serious. He had another one and a Scepter that he used all the time.

Best one I've ever pulled was picking up a dead mint S540P in black for my fellow bandmate for 240 bucks because the guy didn't have change for a 20. He still has it and I get to hold onto it for a month or so soon. Pics will be available!

abyss258 will become famous soon enough
I didnt really sell anything stupid... but a while ago I bought one of those Schecter Synyster Custom models.

It pretty much sounded like ass and looked like ass, but damn, that was one of the comfy-est 6s I've ever had. Couldn't get over the look though
So it got sold

I had a 50s something strat that I traded a peavey patriot for. Some old old old drunk had and iu asked if he wanted to trade. He said yeearghugh and I went home with my new strat. What I thought was just dirt on the maple fretboard turned out to be wear from years and years of playing. I didn't know that. I actually soaked my fretboard in bleach to try and get rid of it. I really just didn't know what I had and really screwed up when I sold it for $100 bucks. I still think about that guitar today.

Ouch man!

Think I've got a spectacularly epic fail, but fortunately it wasn't me and I'm not telling it until I scan the photos.

I've never really sold anything gear-wise, so no regrets yet

I keep thinking of selling my Schecter Revenger-7 because it hardly ever gets played, but every once in a while I pick it up, remember that it was my first ever 7-string, and still love how it sounds for certain things.

nothing to bad over here.
the thing i regret selling the most is actually a squier 6 string h/s/s strat. i bought it for $40 from a friend and then i put an EMG 81/S/S set in it, a new pickguard, and some planet wave locking tuners. it was actually one of the best guitars i have ever played. it just felt so good and it actually sounded great. i put about $450 into it total and only got $200 with a case for it

the sad thing is that the guy who bought it on ebay actually, i believe, just buys guitars, rips them apart, and parts them out so i can't ever get it back.

That sucks. My first guitar was a Squier Strat that I put a DiMarzio Super Distortion into and it's still my main 6-string. I love the thing. It's dirty, the frets are terrible, the bridge is corroded to the point of not being able to adjust the (uneven) action, but it feels and sounds amazing to me. I'll never sell it, and I don't bother playing other Strats because I'm not sure I'd ever find one that felt the way this one does.

god, that's exactly how this thing sounded. the other sad thing is that i sold it while saving up for a new amp, but ended up not getting anything so i could have just kept the guitar. god this sucks
