EdgeCrusher is a jewel in the rough
I'm sure you could find one of those, or something better, for much cheaper on Ebay. Thats about $200 less than I paid for my Mesa rig

Yeah, I started thinking about after I said it Plus after a few beers, I decided I should wait anyway if I couldn't make up my mind as it were.

I definitely appreciate all the feedback mates, though I am still pretty interested in choosing Randalls in the future.

so i just wanted to chime in since ive owned 3 randalls now.
Ive never played the warhead, but i have owned a rh100, a rh200sc g2, and just recently sold that to fund a V2 (just bought it like last weekend). So far i can say i have definitely been impressed by the distortions they offer. They do most metal sounds very well. however for $600, you could do better.(i just picked up my v2 for 800) So definitely look around a bit more, but id say randalls are worth the money

Brewtal_Damage is headed in the right direction.
I think the warhead is a bit overpriced all because it's Dimebag signature amp, check out those V2's great amps for the price.

to be honest with you i was floored by the randall modular head, really did not expect to like it, but i tried it on a whim with the grail module, and its seriously amazing, i really want one now haha
i mean come on...its a randall....i have NEVER liked randalls, but i guess using the egnater modular design can change a lot of things hehe

i bought the v2 used from a guitarcenter in va. It was a great deal, im definitely really happy with it. i've seen a couple on ebay go for like 700 so just keep an eye out. Since your in MD anyways, you should look into atomic music in college park, if your anywhere near it. it has great deals and is something i suggest all md people to visit regularly
