An odd warning for Vox Valvetronix owners...
To the owners of the stage controller, your controller is at risk of invasion from wasps.

I shit you not. I took apart my mates one to clean up the pedal treadles and inside I found no less than six wasps.



I decided to check it against our one that is new stock and found more wasps! Only two this time, but still...

I have three possible solutions:

1. Vox are adding these during the manufacturing process to increase the market buzz about these effects units.

2. Wasps are actually born inside these floorboards.

3. The people at the manufacturing plant are playing a very patient game of 'flytraps' - the object being to get wasps to fly in through the treadle holes and then push the pedal down so the wasp cannot escape.

Either way, figured you should know!
