its the 50W version! i'd say that the VH4 and the einstein are pretty close and that you can get both amps sounding somewhere near "same" - but the VH4 is tighter (its almost tighter than herbert, but also more compressed) and more "darker" sounding - but EQed right they can sound somewhere near "same".

@Thrashmanzac: i can highly recommend it, its definitely worth the money! friend of mine has a studio and recorded several amps through the dragon cab an is still excited about it (and he also has a engl 412 and a mesa recto 212 in his studio).

i almost forgot: i have no own sound-samples yet, but you can go HERE for sounds of the einstein through the dragon cab. this is not my band, but this is the guy from whom i have the einstein and the dragon cab, so this is exactly the rig you see on my pics. recorded in the studio of a friend of mine - we already talked about that as soon as he has some free time we will do sound-samples with herbie and einstein through the dragon cab compared with the ENGL and a mesa 212 for comparison - hope this will happen soon!

thanks for the advise peter, much apresiated

...Each guitarist has an evil fat 40 year old blueswankler trying to get out, If you give in to temptation you'll be sitting next to a fender playing john lee hooker while trying to keep your combover in place.
