 | ENGL Gurus - Help me out! (Stupid question inside!) Can I use another footswitch, like lets say, a Peavey footswitch to change the channels on my amp, rather than having to buy a Z-4, or Z-5? |

  | Yes and no. The Z4 is just a simple stereo relay switch, there's really no difference between it and any other 2 button footswitch. The Z5 has a different kind of connection, like this. |

| Hmm, on further inspection, there's quite a few functions on the Blackmore that wouldn't be switchable using a 2 button switch, so if you want to have everything switchable, then the Z5 probably is essential. Depends on your needs I guess. |

Probably more secure this way but it takes a lot longer and you risk dying while probing around inside the amp. Another note... Get BRIGHT LEDs!!! You guys have seen my green ones right? They weren't bright enough. I bought some 33,000mcd red ones and those are just right so try to find something right around there. | |
