the Custom hundred watt is everything i wished my recto would be plus added versatility. IT has cheap russian tubes in it right noe(5881) and it sound way better than my mesa that has JJs and rubys in it. I can't wait to see how it'll sound with better tubes but that'll be a while in the future.

I'd say the high gain channel on low gain setting sounds britishesk but on high gain it adds a bit more bass and more gain and really goes modern. i can get really good death tones(not scoop ones) which is what the band i play with sounds like. every channel has usable mid range which is cool b/c on the triple it was really just another bass control(IMAO). When cranked i can get just ass good bass response as i get out of my mesa, but gets LOUD. I'm gonna invest in a ultimate attenuator so i can get the bass response i came to expect from amps(b/c of mesa) with way better everything else.

^ it's cool to see people using gear that isnt a Mesa ot ENGL. I obviously am into the British style high gain amps these days. Just kinda made full circle and went back to my roots.. Nice looking amp man, I'd like to hear a clip or to if you get a chance...

Mak2 only has 1 EQ for both channels? hm.. that may make me reconsider making it my next amp..

nice to see pics of yours. get a Schecter 7 in with that ibby and you're gold lol

3 cheers for free gear!
