Nice! As mentioned, it's nice to see people get something that isn't the usual brands!

You can't buy the custom hundred watt heads new right now. Andrew is focusing on the mak2 at the moment. I got mine for 1800 used. It's one of the original custom hundred watts too.

FULL REVIEW AND STORY OF SEARCHING!
I’ve felt for the last two years that my Mesa, that everyone loved so much, really wasn’t a component in my dream rig. And so for two years (and the fact I didn’t have enough money until the last three months) I searched , and searched. I looked over amp company after amp company. Bogner, Engl, VHT, Vintone, Diezel, Soldano, Brunetti, Framus, And then I found Mako and Peters, these to companies really stood out. The Uberschall seamed to loose. The Engle was too, super Mesa(DON”T HATE). VHT I liked a lot at first but the price tag and my fading interest in KT88s, at the last second lost. The Vintone diamond back seamed really cool and it was class A but, can metal sound good through a class A? Diezel was way out of my pricing. Soldano was too super marshal. Brunetti was so rare I never got to hear one and the clips didn’t seam me. Framus I read many bad reviews. Not that any of these amps are bad, it’s just that some they weren’t what I was looking for. Though, I didn’t get to hear a Fultone, Diezel, or Brunetti.
The thing that really mad Mako and Peters stand out was they where both one person. building amps, painstakingly. Which is BRUTAL! I finally after 8 months decide on getting the Peters Chimera, that seamed a bit loose but, actually made it sound good. Then 2 or 3 weeks ago my car started it’s way out. So some of the money I saved had to be put aside to start saving up for a car and I knew then that I couldn’t wait or it would be gone. So I searched and searched and found the mako custom hundred watt in the HC forums. I bought it right away. So here is my review of it.

SPECS
• 100 watts. All tube, 6L6 type out put. 4-6L6 and 5-12AX7.
• 2 Fully independent Channels each with preamp, bass, mid, treble, presence, depth and output. The High gain has a gain knob also.
• 5 pin din foot switch channel/fx loop
First impressions are that this amp doesn’t need a BBE. It’s highs and lows are WELL balanced and it sounds amazing. The crunch tone surpasses the mesa by ten times. With the depth knob amazingly thick tones are achievable. The Mid range is amazing! Though this amp is hard to eq with my mesa triple rec as it cuts through so much that the other guitarist has to turn his volume up more than me and it can be trick to get it right.
Latter impressions are even better as I examine the versatility. Classic rock, hard rock, blues, speed, thrash, death, super clean.. all of these tones can be easily achieved. This amp really hast to be turned up so sound it’s best. Gains more and more balls as volume is turned up.

Do you feel it has a british voicing? I heard that term thrown in this thread already, which is kind of putting me off of these amps completely (I'm not a fan of brit voicing) and towards the realm of Mesa.

Your ass here!
