Best OD for Rectoverb 50

So i am real close to getting an OD pedal for my Rectoverb head, just not sure which one. my dod yjm just isn't really doing it for me. Basically, i am wondering if i should by a ts7 and do the 808 mod on it, get one of the boss od pedals, or possibly a bloody murder. now i know each od reacts differently with different amps, so i was hoping one of you could shed some insight into which pedal would work best for me. Thanks

I really can't see myself recommending anything other than a Bloody Murder. Joe hit it out of the park with performance at an stupid low price point.

+1 with Dave. The Bloody Murder is just amazing. I've not played a hell of alot of overdrive pedals but I don't need to now. The Bloody Murder is really that good.

I wouldn't go so far as to say there's a "best" overdrive as it really depends on what you're looking for, but yeah, Joe does awesome work. My Chaos-mod TS9 is the pedal that finally sold me on the advantages of an OD.

I would give the Bloody Murder a shot, from what it sounds like its basically a suped-up 808 with a broader dynamic response. I don't think you can go wrong with that man!

I'm assuming he's going to want to mass produce these rack pies, and why not? I love racks, I love pies, so put them together and you have pie covered titties. - JJ
