![]() ![]() ![]() | Mesa Rectifier series info? ok, I'm doing a research project about guitar amp development and in one section I'm focusing on certain influential amps in rock music. The rectifier series obviously being one, but I'm struggling a little to find detailed information on the development of them. There's no books on mesa history like there is for fender/marshall/vox etc, and I can't find much useful info on the net. Bit of a long shot but does anyone know of any useful places to get info from? I'm thinking things like interviews with randall smith/other big mesa people about the development of the amps, articles that talk about the rectifiers impact or any other interesting information? The only good resources I've found have been focused on the mark series! Thanks!! |

Also, I know George Lynch used an early prototype on Sacred Groove, for "Love From the Mama Head," which given the title should tell you what he thought of the thing. There's a bit more info on his site. "...and everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon." |
