New Stuff Day! (Line 6 & Mesa content)
With some of my gigs going away & some new projects on the horizon, I got rid of a bunch of gear that I didn't need. Also, my intention was to start consolidating my various rigs. So....

I got one of THESE & one of THESE! Pics to follow.

Well, I do both guitar & bass gigs, so here's the current plan. I got rid of the Marshall head. For bass gigs, I plan to use the X3 for effects only by running it into the input of my GK bass head into my GK 4x10 cab. For guitar gigs, I'll run the X3 into the FX Return of the GK bass head so that I'm using the head for power only (bypassing the preamp & using the X3's preamp) & running that into the Mesa 2x12 cab. In theory, this should work. I'm wiring it all up now.

In the next month though, I still plan on buying another Mesa 2x12 if I like this one. Two 2x12 cabs are a lot more versatile than lugging one big ass 4x12 cab. As much as I gig, the less weight, the better.

Jar Of Flies (AIC Tribute) is drastically reducing the amount of shows we play. Problably 4-6 a year.
