Thinking of selling the Invader to buy another VHT

So, I had an Ultra Lead last year and wasn't all that impressed. It was a 1993 model without EQ and it was loaded with 5881 tubes instead of the almighty KT88s. It also had a 12au7 tube driver instead of the 12at7 they use now.

This amp was not gainy or aggressive sounding like people describe the newer ones.

There's isn't anything I dislike about the Invader AT ALL but I just can't stop wanting new amps!

Whatcha guys think?

AND who'd be interested in buying a 100% mint Invader 100?

Maybe you should try and new VHT out before selling the Invader? If you really like the Invader and you sell it and buy a VHT and you don't like it as well that would totally suck monkey balls.

Didn't you have a case made to fit the head though?

Have you gotten a chance to sit down a while with a UL with the specs you're looking for? If there's 'nothing wrong' with your Invader, then it could be a mistake to get rid of it for a UL if you're not 100% sold on what you're buying next.

I say chill then. You seem happy with the Invader. So why rick getting an amp you're less happy with?

if you love the tone you're getting now, and you're not really moving up so much as moving over.. is it really worth the risk?

I know how you feel though, i still want a mesa to some degree or another

Yous and I swap out amps for a bit. I want some seat time with an Invader 100 and you want some time with an UL-100. Soo, it makes perfect sense. Or am I retarded?
