I just saw one today and the price tag scared me off. I had never heard of them before, and now I wished i had tested it.

The only creative accounting I have seen is Bush's plan to balance the budget by 2015.
Unless, of course, he plans on skyrocketing the debt at such a rate to approach infinity on an
asymptote, causing a giant budget calculator divide by zero error that reboots the country.

i tried one for about an hour at my local gc, and i was thoroughly unimpressed.
the cleans were very bland, and the gain channels were either muddy or fizzy as hell.
no matter what i did (and i tweaked for about a solid hour) i could not get the distortion channels to remain clear without getting completely fizzy on the top end.

the low gain sounds that i got out of it were fantastic though.

I'm typing this on my knees with my butt in the air. -Drew

That seems to be most of what I've read. Tis sad, I was looking forward to this amp.

well I played it, and was also disappointed. The cleans are pretty good for what I was using but the "hi-gain" channels were too dark and fizzy. I'm really sad.

perhaps the cabs are just bad? Who knows.
Try playing through an Orange cab and it might improve some.

I'm assuming he's going to want to mass produce these rack pies, and why not? I love racks, I love pies, so put them together and you have pie covered titties. - JJ

I don't know, man. I must have played a fairly untouched head, because I thought it sounded pretty phenominal. It wasn't voiced in a way that I liked, but the complexity of the midrange was outstanding; it sounded really full and balanced. I didn't need to dial in that much treble on it, either. Yes, it had some fizz, but the highs, even when cut back, are still audible.

Your ass here!

I'll head over to guitar center sometime this week and check it out. It's not aimed for like, metal dudes, though, so I'm not expecting that from it.

that's odd, because i thought the midrange character on the high gain channel was really honky.
granted, i was using a cab with v30s, but i had a v30 cab with my dragon for a long while, and my dragon wasn't near as honky as this amp.
