Ah, tweaking.. thanks Joe
Don't you guys just LOVE it when you have a great sound dialed in.. decide to do some fiddling just for kicks, and it improves?
![]() I was playin the LP today, just bustin out some riffery as per usual. decided to stick the TS into "TS808" mode, and up the drive. not bad. took out too much of the nice low end "thump" that hot mode delivers. - then it struck me!I ran the presence and the resonance at 6. any higher and it was too much low end, and too much high mids/treble. but if i set the TS to 808.. that means less of the chunk that hot mode provides, and i turned up the resonance and presence up to 7. turn up the EQ a touch on the ultra channel. holy. shit. this is probably as close to my sound as I'll get lol. I turned up the resonance so that I could still get some "oomph" from palm mutes, and regular playing just soars clear through. My clean channel sounds a bit cleaner now, and i run the volume on my neck pickup higher (was at 4, now at 6). I leave the TS on all the time when i play, and use my volume knobs to clean up my clean channel lol. i put the bridge on 10 for some nice classic-style grit, always makes me smile. So in short, some random tweaking, changing some settings on my 'd TS7ovChaos, and I am just in tone nirvana right now.thanks joe! your lil wonderbox did a world of good ![]() perhaps i'll be able to record a half-decent clip this weekend, we'll see..
3 cheers for free gear!

![]() Finding sounds that you like and inspire it always a good thing
