![]() | Played a gt-10 yesterday this is hands down the best multi-fx pedal i have ever played thus far period. boss has improved upon the faults of the gt-6/gt-8 and made it easier to use but to be truthful it might confuse you the first time when editing a patch, i would give it a 10/10 and i was playing it through some fender combo amp and it sounded great. i will deffintly buy one. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It does look really interesting. Finally having onboard USB and an officially-supported patch library application is a godsend. It's too bad they haven't gone the extra step and made it capable of deep patch editing via a computer. Tthe only other thing i find myself wishing it had is the completely parallel processing capability like the POD X3 Live has, with its dual inputs and outputs. With that kind of a setup, i could ditch half of the gear in my pedalboard. But i'm not prepared to give up my GT-6 and jump to the Line6 camp just for that. There are a ton of effects in the GT that i love, and the modeling sounds more accurate and authentic to my ear. This space intentionally left blank. |

![]() | the unit is deffintly built like a tank. i was thinking about getting a line 6 vetta myself before i heard this unit, im just going to need a new tube head. this and the gt-3 are my two fav units they have released on the m-fx platform. for $500 you cant go wrong at all,i about salivated all over myself when i saw the eq section its detailed shows a nice wave matrix when adjusted highs, lows and so on. the pre-amp models sound great, i didnt mess around with the dist models on it to be honest. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hmm... i've just spent some time going through the GT-10 manual and i think i've figured out a way to use the effects return as a secondary input that could feed a signal to one of the parallel preamp/effects chains, and the balance between these chains could be controlled by a sub-expression pedal. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I want a definitive answer to whether or not there's less tone suck in the 4 cable with this vs the GT8. I don't need to step up for the effects, but if it's cleaner I would. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I wonder how much better the amp modeling is. I hate BOSS's existing COSM modeling, especially when you start turning up the gain. I don't think my X3 is going anywhere in the immediate future, but it would be pretty neat if they fixed their gain. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I guess everyone hears things differently. To my ears, Roland's modeling is far superior to Line6's, and the controls respond much more true to the original amps. And i'm judging this based purely on sitting down in front of a real Rectifier to dial in a tone, then going home to my GT-6 and duplicating the control positions and it just nailing the sound. I tried dialing in the exact same settings on a POD XT last week, and it was awful. Nowhere near close. A few places in the GT-10 marketing materials, they mention that they've made the models more "natural" sounding or something to that effect. One area i've found my GT-6 gets a little weak is when turning down the volume on the guitar... there seems to be a little bit of digital "grit" that comes through as the sound cleans up. |
