1.6 AT (230V)
3,15 AT (115V)

The fuse that was in it is 3A, 250 V.
Find a place online, place order, done, and get the EXACT value. Seriously, the 3amp may be a reason why it's gone, as it requires 3.15, which is a 5% difference.

So order a bunch online, of the correct type, and never be stuck again.

Of course, if it keeps blowing them, then, well, it's not the fuse!

The Chaos has come:

RadioShack.com - Cables, Parts & Connectors: Fuses: Slow-blow fuses: 3.15A 250V 5x20mm Slow-Blow Glass Fuse (4-Pack)

I'm assuming that's what I need. What about voltage? I read somewheres that voltage doesn't matter too much as long as it's rated at a minimum of what you need. What say you guys?

JJ....jesus christ, why can't you just deal with a problem?!

Allparts sell them. I get five slo-blo fuses for about $3 from them when I was fixing my buddies Triple Rectumfrier.

Get the fuse.

Insert fuse.

If it pops it again, get help, because you obviously aren't cut out for this 'doing it yourself' thing.

I'm for the "doing it myself", I just need to know if the voltage thing is cool, and a place to get them. If I had walked into Circuit city, and they had had a 3 amp fuse, which is what it had in it, I would have bought it. I know replacing a fuse is an easy thing to do, it's just buying this shit around here fucking sucks, and I asked 3 times for a place to buy them and no one answered, I figured there'd be an electronics place online for me to order them from that people had ordered from before. Jesus, I know it's just replacing a fuse, but I just needed to know a couple things.

250V determines the maximum voltage it will take, after it has blown, before there is arc over (ie, the electrical current arcs across the broken fuse).

Electronic Fuse Selection Guide and Definitions.

Google is your friend.

ANyway, 250V 3.15A (Slow Blow) should be fine

He already told me one time in chat that she could do a lot worse than me. That's a blessing....isn't it?

I found that if I dont buy saltwater fish, then they will never die on me.....

Saltwater fish unfortunetely cant be fixed like an amp can though. So maybe if JJ gives the amp two names, it will cancel the bad karma out.
