indeed they do, i've sent our resident LordOVchaos a few of my pedals to mod, and each one was drastically improved to my ears.

I want to agree with everying Darren and Drew said.

The TS808 is a very noise unit, just like all the Ibanez pedals tend to be. I noticed that the mod quieted it up a good deal.

The noise gate should be the last thing in the effects loop of your amp. This is the only place it is going to be completely effective.

As a general rule of thumb:

Volume pedal -> Wah - > non time-based effects -> boost pedal -> preamp -> time based effects -> noise gate -> power amp

I actually use the noise gate in my G Major, so I can tailor how much gating I want, and when I want it, based upon the patch I'm on. I set it really tight for rhythm, light for lead, and nothing on cleans.

noodles-
do you have the lordovchaos mod as well? and youre saying i should stick the gate last in the FX Loop? and go volume pedal>wah>TS> [loop]dl4, chorus, gate????

guess ill give a shot going
volume pedal>wah>od>amp and in the loop ill try out dl4>chorus>noisegate
