Ordered a Bad Horsie 2, any good?

This was an impulse buy on ebay, $80 bucks and free priority shipping. The clips sounded good and it's treakable like the 535Q that I originally wanted. What got me into Morleys was Andrew Kisser's tone on Convicted in Life. I saw his pedal board and I swear I saw a Bad Horsie, but I know it was a Morley wah. I love the 535Q, but I'm sick of hearing Cybabys and I want something different. I'm replcing all the effects that I used on my POD xtL with high end analog pedals and this is my second step, 3 more to go (I use very few effects :lol ).

What did I get a good pedal or what? I have no experiance with morleys.

Hmmmm...I dunno I stick with the Original Crybaby as I'm not too picky with my wah. Personally I preferred it to the Bad Horsey 2, but if you're sick of them it may be what you're looking for. Definitely not a bad investment.

I dug my Vetta wah when I had my POD xtL. It wasn't too digitalish and it was different from a Crybaby, but still very similar.

When I think of stock Crybaby's I think of Kirk Hammet, then I think of a plane crash... anyways I do dig Slayer's Dunlop wah sound however their's is completely custom and in a rackmount. They close the doors on their rack cases live I wanna see their fucking gear!

Great wah, I own one, have done for years, I love the fact you dont have to step on a switch to use it, makes it easier for if you want to put wah on a note or two and leave it at that, rather than the foot cemented to the casing Kirk Hammet approach

The wah sound in the normal mode is a little.....it doesn't have a huge range I find, but in the footswitchable second mode, its fantastic, spot on for what I want

Thanks a lot for the input guys! I feel more reassured. Andrew Kisser does have a wicked tone, and with the pedals tweakability it should get my tone.

I'll shoot a message to LoC and see if there's anything he can do to it. I'll also read on some review on MF that there's an easy way increase it's responsiveness for activation. I'll look up some pedal mod kits too, ormaybe it'll just be perfect. I can't wait!

Yeah, theres a pot on the inside of it which if you turn it to minimum, it will activate and deactivate at the exact moment you push it down and lift off, otherwise theres a bit of delay involved.

I have an original Bad Horsie & I love it over all others. My Dunlop Crybaby From Hell just collects dust.

Sweet! I That'll be awesome for real quick wah riffs.

One question though, do these things take batteries? Mine isn't coming with a power supply

I agree. I hate pressing that button on Cry Babies.

Yeah, I'm on the same boat with Shannon. My Cry Baby from Hell is sitting in my pedal graveyard and has been for 2 years.
