One question though, do these things take batteries? Mine isn't coming with a power supply
Yeah you can use batteries, however I use one of them pedal brick style power supplies and it works fine with that, any standard 9v Boss style supply should work without a problem on that one.

Thanks! I feel better now. I need a power brick or something. My 9v battery budget is getting big.

Hahaha, The same exact thing happened to me.

The BH2 is a great wah! I almost never use the contour switch, I just use the original, and it's awesome.

Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance only hides the truth. And the longer that truth has to hide, the more it stings when it makes itself known.

newfinator will become famous soon enough
I have an old Dunlop Cry Baby which hasn't seen action in years. It seems to be a real tone sucker but the Bad Horsie has given me zero problems and leaves the tone where it belongs.

It got here today! DAMN it was EXACTLY what I wanted! It hit that Kisser tone dead on but then the contour just added more fun! I like the default settings a lot but the contour mode lets me make it crazyy low or crazy high without being ear piercing! And with the switch it's like a two channel Wah! The previous owner already set the delay to min and I tested it with some fast riffs with random wah notes it was crazy.

Unlike Crybabies I love the way this sounds on the low strings! The clarity is unreal and I love the lack of honk! I might be using this on some crazy low end stuff.

The only thing that was weird was that I never used a spring wah before, to get the feel right I need to be bare foot. The downside with the lack of selay is if I let the wah come all the way back up it will shut off immediately if im not careful, but the range is great.

I thought no true bypass would suck, but I can't hear any coloration, but I do hear a touch of extra hiss but if I turn the boost level knob to zero I can just barely ear it and I bet I noise pedal will kill it instantly. I was expecting some loss of presence, but there was none and my amp was cranked!

I have my dream wah now! No honky kirkhammet pedal for me!

Glad you like it. One other thing I noticed, is that in normal mode, it's damn near silenty, whereas the two crybabys i've owned sounded like AM radios when engaged.

The contour mode hisses just a tiny bit, but nowhere near what a CB does.
