Question Poll: Which new 112 amp?

I've decided to get a new practice amp, and have narrowed it down to either the 50w Peavey Valveking 110 or the 30w Crate Palomino V32 112. Has anyone around here played either or both? I know they don't necessarily lend themselves to a "metal" sound, but I always use distortion/fuzz and some delay, at a minimum. I'm also looking for a good feedback amp.

I've included a poll for your convenience, so vote way! Comments would be welcomed too, as long as they're not "it sucks I'd never have one!" sort of thing. However, if you'd have one that caused problems, then I'd definitely like to hear about that. I have 'til the 31st because GC has a 10% off coupon that would take care of the sales tax. I've been planning to get one for a long time, and that time is now!

So whaddya say?

I really don't like the low end peavy amps, the valveking is awful.
I've never tried a crate.

You could always look into a Mesa Studio .22 on ebay, they go for around 400-450$, usually.

I think valve kings are decent enough, though i havent played one in forever.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

Tech21 makes some really nice, versatile 112's as well.

I of course have to nominate the behringer GMX112. It's cheap and sounds good.

I want to keep it at around $400 or so, minus the 10% coupon. The Peavey had a nice sound, and I've had 5 Peaveys over the years, so I do like their products. However, I'm not going to let that get in the way of a good amp. I want all tube, am not so interested in multiple channels since I tend to use my effects to alter the sound. Feedback is a priority - the more the better.

I really wish I'd have picked up one of those old Fender Super Reverbs when they were just old amps and going for around $300. Oh well . . .
