![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just saw Soilwork at Jaxx in Springfield, VA ![]() They were using Elmwood amps... checked them out, and they are a swedish amp co. (go figure). Elmwood Amps - Professional Guitar Tube Amplifiers HIGH upper midrange spike, and the palm mutes weren't all that great, but it was a very clear and pronounced tone. Overall - Soilwork is great live. I talked to the band a bit and they were all definitely cool. Speed is tall as fuck ![]() Ramen! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Daniel I think his name is? He was great. His amp was more 'scooped' of the two, so his leads didn't stick out as much. However, he played everything extremely clean and precise. They played Bastard Chain, which excited the lower region of my body. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I would have much rather seen I,Vermin over Pittsburgh Syndrome (which is a fun song, but not as musical). They opened with Sworn to a great divide, and I must admit it's MUCH more powerful live. Actually, all the songs off the new CD sound better live since the production quality sucks ![]() One with the flies was absolutely CRUSHING - the chorus was so perfect and precice. Their drummer is SPOT ON live |
