Ville is a jewel in the rough
ENGL Screamer 50 Combo

My first thread

So I went to the local music shop whether they had got any info on my Loomis (of course not... ) and because I had to spend some time, I'd ask how much a tube combo would cost me. I could get a Mesa Boogie Express 50 for about 1300-1400€. If I was to buy that from Helsinki myself I'd have to pay about 400€ more. Then I asked about ENGL amps but he didn't know how much those would cost and he'd call the Finnish dealer tomorrow. Then I left the shop and went home. Then of course came here and looked for some info on the Mesa Boogie Express and found out it probably wouldn't be my cup of tea. Now I'm pretty much sure I'll get a Screamer. It'd be cheaper and probably would work better for me.

Are there any reasons why I shouldn't get the Screamer. I play stuff like Dream Theater and Nevermore.

if you like the sound ENGL's get, grab the screamer. i'd love to hear one, but ENGL's seem somewhat hard to find anywhere

3 cheers for free gear!
