![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | well drew, that's kind of what i mean. i like having an amp that does balls-to-the-wall metal rhythm and screaming leads, its great! its what i play half the time! but i also like to roll back the gain and smack out some dirty classic-sounding riffs. if the amp cant go from one to the other, for me personally, it's probably not worth getting. i've used my jsx in a musical to cover music from the 60's up to 2000's. im glad it could handle everything i threw at it ![]() 3 cheers for free gear! Honestly, my roommate has this old solid state Traynor that's like a 2x8 or something that I fired up the other day while doing some housecleaning. I fucking love the thing, it sounds all raw and ragged and fucked up in a way that's just absurdly cool. I need to take some pictures and record a few clips for you guys, it's just a cool amp because it's an unequivically shitty sounding amp. ![]() "...and everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon." |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I thought about the Spider Valve...and also the Vetta II, I figure the best tone I've ever had was a PODxt into an ENGL 50/50, so I'm kinda leaning towards selling the HD and my XTLive and getting an XT Pro/Valve poweramp. Sabaton ![]() |
