Edit: I take it back!

To recap, I was complaining about the cold, shrill pinch harmonics I was getting with the Fireball, but I spoke too soon. After tweaking it and cranking it, I realized it's not as bad as I thought. Some new tubes will probably be the icing on the cake.

Also, I'm coming from a DSL100 which delivers beautiful pinch harmonics. I really, really want to try a fucking Invader now! I didn't even know it had EL34's until someone mentioned it (on here... I think).

So yeah, never mind.

which amps do pinch harmonics well?
any amp i've ever played a guitar with emgs through.

that said, my dragon's harmonics are just godly.

Lol, strange, I have no problem doing pinch harmonics through my fireball with any of my guitars. Maybe the tubes are old?

hmm, i really haven't had these problem with mine. And i play pinch harmonics pretty often... maybe you should try finding the 'sweet spot' again thru this amps.

Check the tubes if you think the problem is with the power tubes. Throw some JJ's in it

I'm willing to bet it's not biased either, which is the most crucial part of the equation. I owned a Fireball and had no problem at all. Bias the amp, throw in high quality tubes and you'll be fine.

amp? lol i can do pinch harmonics unplugged or with a 15w marshall as amazingly as any other amp ive tried. Personally i STILL think its all technique idk.
