lost a screw

does anyone know what size the screws are for locking nuts on a floyd rose and does anyone know where to get one without buying the entire system(the locking nut part is expenisve, just for a screw.)?

I can't tell you the exact size. However, go to your local guitar shop. Their repair area usually has tons of these & if you know the guy, he'll usually give it to you for free.

If all else fails, some hardware stores have them. Take in one of your screws (as a reference) and have the clerk match it up.

No problem. Yeah, the hardware stores are kind of a last resort. You could always hit the phonebook and just start calling. Ask if they have short Hex-head screws and give them the shaft width and length. (Waits for the inevitable dick joke)

If they say they've got 'em, take a screw down there and make sure the thread patterns match up.
