After having a Fender Prosonic head for almost 4 months sitting in me room without even knowing if it works at all I got meself a cab today. Not an ordinary guitar cab, but a cab solution for serious people - Ampeg Classic SVT-15E 1x15" bass box

At first I was worried a bit, I thought as being a bass box it may lack something in the sound, but it doesn’t. It has full, warm, organic tone with excellent low end and enough high end - cleans and distorted tones are very nice. And as having 15” driver it has unexpectedly good punch.

It was a demisable item in one musical equipment company for one year. Got it for ~ Euro 360 while new one would have cost me ~ Euro 510. Condition was almost perfect except some rust here and there, couple of loose screws and one another thing – it was dirty as hell. I spend almost 2 hours cleaning it, because it was unctuous as a 10 years unwashed mechanic‘s dungarees. God knows, maybe it was transported in some shitty dirty old van all the time.

Oh, and Prosonic is very nice piece of gear as well. One sentence in eourotubes site describes it perfectly:

I’m gathering info if it is worth to stuff some KT-88’s in it instead of standard L6L’s.
