Laney VC15 and LC15 not quite 5 watts, but 15 isnt too bad. the lionheart is a 5 watt, but its kinda expensive.
Black heart BH5, it has a 3 band and its cheap. if you can find an old Kalamazoo i highly recomend them. i owned a model 2 till my dad mistook it for trash when i was building it into a small head and cab. controls on that were on/volume, tone, vibrato. a blown tube in the v1 made it sound like a really cool driven synth too. overall its like the poor mans champ, but better cuz you get trem and its a u magnet 10" speaker. Speaking of the champ, they started repros on them recently. not a bad amp by what i know of them either. fairly reasonable too, way to go fender! (for once) Peavey JSX mini collosal. might be priceir than you are looking for. they also make a the Valve King Royal 5, which is more affordable the Crate V5. i cant believe i am actually even mentioning Crate in the running for any thing, but the V series does what they are supposed to with out too much extra buzz. kind strange. idk what else is out there, but im sure there is more Palomino V8 is 5 watts and cheap too |

I can mod the shit out of those little guys! I suppose I could add a Bloody Murder to it, never thought of that before. I could put a relay on it like I did in the rack ones and you could use a normal 1-button amp footswitch to turn it on and off.
Not even close! ![]() |

I've always thought that it would be badass to have a TS-based OD built into the amp that can be turned on by it's footswitch.
I really want to get together with my friend and build an Engl Fireball clone that has that circuitry added to it.
Your ass here!

Question: Is it really necessary to have an on-board 3-ch EQ when you can buy a 10 band EQ pedal for $100?
