If blinky lights = tone... my tone PWNS! (short picstory)

Continued from here

So I get home from school/work today and I see this on my bed...

And what might this be? Who's it from?

A-Ha! Just the package I've been waiting on!!

So, now how do I open it?

Hmm... looking around the room for sharp objects... maybe this will work?

Nope... maybe this?

Nah, mini Cabo Wabo bottles aren't sharp...

But I know what is!!

Darth Maul's double lightsaber!!

It worked!!

(I found it ironic that the airpacks used to cushion the package said "Ibanez" on them)

So let's get rid of the packaging!

And low and behold!! A db meter!

But wait... they've multiplied!!

And upon further inspection... they're BRAND NEW IN THE BOX!!

And by brand new, I mean STILL IN THE FUCKING TAPED WRAPPING!! SCORE!!

So yeah, fuck the wrapping, I need to rackmount this bitch!

And here it is in my rack.

You can see the lights working on one channel. Tomorrow I gotta go buy myself a dual 1/4" to RCA cable to wire it up properly. It has an adjuster on the right side, per channel, to adjust the input level on it. And the dot mode is kinda cool too. I'll have to get some video to post when I get the right cable. Its very cool. I'ma end up putting the other one into my band's PA rack. And for $6/each + $10 shipping = $13/pop... its a helluva lot better than paying $60 at MF.com!!

See? Guitar Center ain't always bad!!

Metal... Nuff Said!!

why'd you buy a dB meter again?

also.. why are you suprised that it's still in the packaging? if i buy something new, i damn well expect that no one took it out of the packaging!

1. Blinky lights = tone
2. I wanted to measure the S/N ratio between units in my rack
3. Looks cool as hell
4. Why not?
5. Its fun, and anyone who has seen me live can atest to my 'having fun' on stage
6. They were $13/each, instead of $60 from MF.com

nice dude.
Well, I had a buddy at GC call another store. They were deval'd (Devalued) and since they came from VA, I wasn't sure what kinda condition they'd be in. Demo, f'd up, etc. I am happy to see they're brand new!

You gonna sell me one?

You've got your head down
You've got your eyes closed
You look so pitiful now

Your body encrusted with ash
Breath heavy with toxins
Hair singed and matted
Clothes frayed and burnt

You are left with nothing
