![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | why would you need a vh4 and a herbert? seems like a little bit of overkill. isn't the vh4's lead chan basically the herbert? |

Hertbert sounded better with 7 string and VH4 sounded better with 6. Herbert has just the most insane amount of tight responce bass ive heard. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That's odd, I'm the other way round. Thought the Herbert sounded pretty good but the VH4 was much tighter & more focussed with low tuning. I guess it depends what you're looking for, I've always preferred the bass player handling the extreme low end to get better seperation. (plus, I had to play bass with somebody who owned a Herbert and he pretty much used to obliterate the rest of the band, quite amusing but gets a bit pointless you being there in the end!!) And, I'm happy to say that the guy from Cry For Silence can actually play, after seeing him at the Blackmachine stand earlier in the year. One of my pet hates is people with massive expensive rigs who play like retards 'Excuse me while I adjust my pants, and dance the good time dance'![]() |
