Holy f**king shit! TC Nova System - a cheaper G System!

Nova System All-In-One Floor-Based Guitar Solution

Coolest thing from NAMM I have seen thus far. Holy fucking sweet. I'm buying one - the Nova Delay and Reverb I've had are fantastic pedals.

Yeah, i'm really intrigued as well. Precious little information on their site, though... no manual, not even a shot of the back panel to show the inputs and outputs.

This space intentionally left blank.

I am curious myself as to how you'll hook it up. I would have liked to see it contain only stuff you would use in the effects loop instead of having a boost and that as well, but I can deal with it as it is. I'm thinking it will probably use the four cable method, and it sounds like they have hit on a solution that will prevent tone loss.
Hopefully it comes in at around $650 all said and done.

Wait.. the article said 699 euros, which is like $1000. Isn't the G-system $1500? I'm not sure I see the logic in buying the Nova over that, if that's the case, unless it ends up being close to the price range of the G Major.

This thing looks pretty serious. I've been coveting a G-System for a long time.... this may be within my financial reach.

My only concern is with yours, would the have dual input/outputs for front in and loop? That or digital compensation for pre-amp insertion?(which would probably suck)

my mother.... she never loved me. She always says she wishes shes was a raped by someone else ~Borat

I saw a more current thread for this on TGP and just wanted to say they are out there now! Looks pretty cool and some of the guys who got theirs already are saying it functions pretty well and is a great alternative if you can't afford a G-System and don't need all the functionality of the G-System. Street price is $699 USD currently and the site has been updated with more info:

Nova System

Manual can be found here:

Manuals & Goodies

Here is a picture (although small) of the back:

Thanks for the manual link Matt... this thing looks great. You don't have to use it front of your amp, and it works in the effects loop just fine. Awesome! GAS GAS GAS...

oh cool... now, i wonder if it'd sound better than my G-Major...

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.
