PS: You don't need the ISP in your loop bro, you put it in front of the amp. You CAN put it in the loop but that's really not what it's meant for.

what do you have for a cabinet?

also, my dragon sounds phenomenal with the crunch channel gain at about 2:00 and the lead channel gain at about 11:00.
i'm not sure why yours would need the gain dimed. i was going to state that this is one of those amps that needs to be cranked to sound its best, but you had it cranked when you were testing it. its worth noting, however, that the dragon sounds best within a band context/mixed with another amp. i really like how my dragon sounds when i'm at home jamming on it by myself, but i ....ing love it when i practice with my band.

@ibnznorange: this amp is not a naturally scooped sounding amp. i could have the midrange at 9:00-10:00 and it would still have enough midrange to cut through (i have my mids at 3:00, btw). the framus being a middy amp is one of the reasons why i bought it and like it so much.

That's why I bough it too, because everyone said if I want mids, I want the Dragon. I'm running it through a Marshall Valvestate 4x12 right now, going to snag a Vader in a bit, I'm just debating between a 4x12 and a 2x12.

Well, one of the preamp tubes was a bit loose. I jiggled her back in tighter than a nun's ...., and everything is the very best. It won't be too long before I record with my band, so when I do you guys will get to hear clips, even with my crappy playing
