It would work exactly the same as running one amp into each side of my current cab (like when we were jamming). I'd rather be able to use all 4 speakers though, which is where the Tonebone thing works. I don't think it'll let you use both amps at once, but I could live without that feature until I could afford a second 4x12

Yeah, honestly used prices for 5150's are so low that I don't really see the point of a cheaper derrivative.

It's the main reason I was looking at 5150s in the first place: cheap and plenty of them. The only problem was a lack of versatility, but since I had decided I was keeping my Flextone II HD no matter what anyways, I figured, why not solve the problem by using both, no matter what I end up with.

I gotta try one first, I've bought way too much gear without trying it first, and my luck's gonna run out someday I'll see if I can sit down with one at Walters.

I gotta save up some money and sell my combo first

Will do lol Yeah, I'm employed, but we're just in the process of getting out of debt lol I'm about to wipe our credit cards clean thanks to a generous grandmother lol But I'd rather avoid going back in debt lol Shouldn't take long to save up some money though, especially if I manage to sell my Flextone II. I should post a listing for that in a couple places lol
