Just bought a new amp....

The deal was too good to pass up, so I pulled the trigger:

Line6 Vetta-II half stack, with the big FBV board...3 mos. old.

It should be here begining of next week. I'll post a quick review once I get through the 300 page manual. LOL

Just to bring everyone up to speed, here's an amp listing after the Vetta-II shows up:

- Rivera TBR-2SL with 2101 PRO (for FX only) into a PV 4x12 (Sheffields, because the amp is 320 watts of all-tube power).
- Cruise Audio MQ4 2x12 combo with foot controller. INSANE technology in this tube amp and so versatile. This amp will be going up for sale soon (about Feb.).
- '68 Fender Bassman in custom quilted maple housing. 100% original inside. Creamy clean heaven.
- Line6 Spider 1x12 with big floorboard. Great kick-around amp. If I'm at the computer and say that I'm playing, this is the amp I'm running through.
- Line6 Vetta-II half stack. 300W head, 4x12 slant cabinet, FBV foot controller.

Once the Cruise is sold, that should just about do it for amps at this house.

i can't wait to see a picture of that Line6 next to your Rivera. i'll bet it'll look something like this...

nice grab! with what seems to be the best of both worlds, i can't wait for the review.

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.

LOL...good one, Leon.

While carting around the Rivera rig is a good workout (even for Arnold), something a tad smaller would work just fine.

-Rivera + 2101 + case= just under 100 lbs.
-Vetta-II head= 40 lbs.

Ahhhh.....

Congrats on the Vetta! I love mine. Many times I've considered getting something simpler but I just can't part with it.
Once you get it, we'll have to swap some patches.

Awesome. Yeah, the lighter load the equipment is, the better IMO. Cant wait to see the review and pics.

Ahhhh.....
+1. That Rivera is fucking heavy. Seems like it weighed more than that when I tried to lift it and almost left my arms with the case.
