Anyways after my research this is legit mail fraud after the 16th. I'm not familiar with it. I take it there's fines and jail time?

I'm reviewing the emails sent back and forth. Gathering everything I have on this guy. I mean after reading them all again, it's hard to tell if he's a scammer, I mean this guy is a complete asshole! He responded to the Ebay complaint but he hasn't responded to the message that stated we were calling the police.

I'm still gonna try sending him a message incognito asking about the newer Cobra sale and ask if I can still buy it. Obviously if he's a greedy bastard he should respond. And that's all I need.

If he doesn't send the amp and you get your money back, there is a Framus Cobra listed like 30 minutes outside of Philly in the KoP area.

You could do local pickup that way and ENSURE he gives you the amp!

Sorry for the delayed update. I've so damn busy and this amp situation is just adding to a long list of problems.

The cops aren't doing shit. They basically said $1700 just wasn't that much money for their concern and they didn't feel like wasting time with it. Fuck them that's a whole in anybody's pocket.

Well last weekend my uncle had a good idea. He knows enough about this shit that it scares me. Anyway he said call up the district aattourny at Oxnard with the police report and he'll put out a bench warrent for Keven Brooks. So when the fucker gets pulled over for running a red light or something the cop would have to bring him down to the station for questioning. I'll be doing that this weekend.

I'm still hoping this is all just a misunderstanding, I mean stuff takes a while to get from CA to PA, but that's just blind hope not logic. Kevin hasn't replied to any of my emails incognito so internet is probably down.

I wish this guy from King of Prussia would have listed sooner! That's like a 15 minute drive for me! Maybe I could find some kind of cash, which is hard cause I just quit my job. eh... This is just not something I have the time to deal with right now.

If this guy gets snagged with this warrant then he's going to be in some really serious trouble. Using the mail to fraud someone is a federal offense. Although he'd probably end up doing no time it would be on his record and after a costly court case, because they're all costly, you'd get your amp if it still exists.

I know some other people have said some similar stuff on here, but I take into account what the person has bought and sold, as well as the amount of quality feedback they have when considering purchasing a pricey item. And I only use my credit card to buy with, because it's got fraud protection on it. If the sale goes south then I can always get my money back from the credit card and they can go track down the guy and get the money from them. It would be different if this were done face to face, but when eBay won't protect you, you have to protect yourself.

Anyways, good luck. Keep us updated. I'm anxious to see if they issue a warrant for him. That would sooo rock.
