Epic PicStory of Brutal Wonders (Especially brutal for 56k)

Ahh, I remember around a year and a half ago when Alan got his first "real" amp. It had tubes and all. That amp was a Laney TT50. But dat amp, has now disappeared.

(This has been cleaned since)

'Twas love at first sight. They only problem was, this was back when Alan had been seduced by the evil digital Queen, Boss GT6. Eventually, Alan got tired of teh digitals. He got rid of the GT6, but was left with no brutal tonez since the Laney was a gentle beast. So, Alan acquired this.

But eventually, Alan started to feel like this.

So, Alan had a little talk with a fellow who felt the opposite way towards his br00tal amp, and then Alan talked to his amp.

"It's not you, it's me."

So, the Laney gathered it's belongings and was ready to leave Alan.

This morning, it was ready to go.

Oh wait, forgot the bag of goodies!!!

Alan says, "Fuck yeah, time for teh car!" On this bright, sunny day.

Alan prepares by administering some brutal t00nz.

Now we are on the way!!!

Unfortunately, though Alan is legal and 18, he has yet to acquire a vehicle of his own, so he gets Metal Mom to be his shoffur (sp?).

First stop is the girlfriend's house. Alan forgot his phone there last night. We arrive!

Ahah! Phone acquired along with my ACDC flip flops that I let her borrow a while back.

Sustenance is needed! And then acquired!

Greasy, heart killing, shit burger FTW

Next fuel is needed!

But Alan needs his personal fuel. The coffee is for teh Metal Mom

But, now Alan needs to laugh!

As the laughter commences, we arrive at our destination.

Before anything, Alan went inside to buy some picks, and ended up ordering $40 worth of Ultex Jazz III's, lulz.

Here's a hint of what's to come!!!

(Well, Alan didn't get any pictures of the actual gear swap since he didn't want the guy to think he's a psycho ... but it happened during this time in the Guitar Center parking lot.)

Here are some hints as to what Alan got.

Yes maybe?

Oh yesh?

You know it!!!

Ahh ... this is gonna one long ass 20 minute ride back home.

Now, for those who hadn't guessed ...

...

..

.

Alan can has teh br00tulz?!

Love picture!!!

FUCK YOU LITTLE SOLID STATE BASTARD!!!

ALAN DEEMS SHITTY FUN SHITTY TRUE

So concludes the tale of the 5150 brutal-ness. Oh, here's a vid I made after spinning the knobs for a few minutes. The first 20 seconds are random shit, and the rest is an original I'm currently working on. The tone isn't too great, but I haven't tweaked it much and it's a shitty camera mic.

Thanks for checking my thread out!!!!!

There's a hole in the world like a great black pit
And it's filled with people who are filled with shit
And the vermin of the world inhabit it
But not for long ...

That was such a riveting tale *sob*. Man when you had that burger..and then drank that Monster I was with you. They should make this into a movie called "The Brutal Journey: The discovery of Alan". Truely a feel good movie to end all feel good movies

Yeah, I've started fine tuning, but none of the knobs are going very high or low. All staying around the mid range.
