![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | When you boost your amp.. do you have the output set to half or do you set it to 8 (out of 10)? 3 cheers for free gear! "Do you like burned toast with your JAM? cuz we're on FIRE!" ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | cool. i usually leave mine at 9:00 - 12:00 - 3:00, i was wondering who runs theirs at unity or whatever you'd like to call it. tryin to think of how to boost w/o needing a noisegate lol |

![]() ![]() ![]() | my bloody murder, i set the level at like 10:30 and the drive at a touch over 0 ![]() that thing has so much gain! i just use it to tighten up my amp a bit, my amp already has more than enough gain tbh, especially with high output pickups. on my little arion tubulator tho, i run it with the drive at 0, and the level at about 1:00 |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | depends if you want to drive your amp harder or not. A lot of us use OD pedals for tone alterations and compression rather than boosting. FWIW I've taken to putting the level of my OD pedal below unity, so the level is higher when it's off. Swithing it off becomes a gain and bass boost. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | I use an eq in front and cut 200 a bit and boost 1.6khz and a little bit of gain. it gives it some nice djent ![]() I find that some boosts dont work infront of some amps. i.e tc boost doesnt work with engl, but it works really well with pod/mesa. |
