Need bass amp help.

I need a bass amp for under 700 bucks.
It's going to be used for deathcore type stuff that is tuned real low.

What is my best option?

All I can say is stick to valvestate or solid state. Stay away from Behringer, mine has never failed me but it sounds like shit.

One of my friends who plays that type of bass really digs Gallien-Krueger and Ampeg, and they're quite affordable.

ive got an ampeg for sale with a behringer cab, handles low a pretty well. pm me if youre interested. i dont think lower will handle on anything around that price

You'll need a 4x10 cab for what you want to play. Bigger speakers will mud out on you and 2x10s sound weak. 4x10 is the way to go imo.
I'm currently using a Warwick Pro Fet 3.2 head and it's perfect for tuning lower since it has a crystal clear and dry sound that never goes boomy or muddy.
