Any suggestions?

I was going to get an XTL but the sellers just told me he can't ship to ireland () SO! I have around £210 (I know its not much but hey) and I want to improve my sound. I current have a spider II 30 watt which is a pile of... and I want to sell it if I can find a cheap tube combo, or is finding another XTL the best way to go for a decent gigging tone?

Thanks all!

If I were you I'd look into getting a good and affordable tube combo or head. The XTL is going so sound similar to your spider, since it's made by Line 6 and we all know they basically "recycle" their tones.

I would suggest you look into a Peavey Valveking, or something along these lines. It's a great amp, for a great price. I considered getting one when I sold my 5150, because it sounds similar...but then I bought a JSX, which I sold to buy another 5150, lol.

Anyway, I hope I helped you in someway.

I think valveking is great choice for that money. But if you really need "all in one" buy a XTL, you won't be dissapointed
