![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Slawn reissue amp sleeves ive got an old marshall plexi coming in, but it looks like fuch, and i saw these Splawn Amps - guitar amplifiers, hand build tube amps, Marshall Mods and custom cabinets,Jackson Guitars,Charvel Guitars,Celestion Speakers,Eminence Redcoat Speakers,Rio Grande Pickups,Mullard Tubes,brown sound, i wanna get the white/gold one. i just like the look of it, and i was gonna get either a splawn cab, an orange cab and get it recovered, or an electricamps cab in white with the cane front to go with it. any clue as to how sturdy these are built? anybody have any splawn experience at all? If you want a shiny new one, then get a reissue ![]() And a good cab to combine it with is an old marshall with the blackback or greenback speakers. |

If that is the case I'd restore it, as those things sound amazing as is, honestly, if you scored in cheap and it's a 1967 build then I'd leave it as is, those things are worth a pretty penny if the transformers and wiring are all unmodified ![]() THen again, i dids butcher a super lead from 1969 by putting an effects loop in it, but then again, I had no idea about what I actually had at the time... |
