![]() ![]() | There isn't really a reason. If you like the simplicity, there's nothing wrong with it at all! In fact, I'm still waiting for mine to come into GC. Your ass here! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The fireball sounds better imo then a powerball, and a little more "wet" then the savage. I would get one if I had the money for an amp for cleans. |

There are my cleans! Another reason why this amp doesn't bother me, I suppose! | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | to be honest i set up my fireball for my distortion tone but my clean tone is also pretty good to my ears. The reason being that you only need the gain set to about 3-4 (9 - 10 oclock) to get a completley CRUSHING tone for rythm. When you switch the clean the gain isnt cranked so you dont get the problem of having a slightly pushed sound that you get with the likes of a 5150 etc. The area that it lacks versatility in is a lead tone. You can have a brutal rythm tone and nice cleans but you cant also have a nice lead tone at the same time. It does have 2 master volumes and you can switch between them while still using the same setting so for lead you can set one a bit higher than the other and just use a volume boost to get extra 'oomf' for lead stuff. Great amp for a great price. i love mine. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Amazing amp, shame i need a clean channel, although ive been suing a pod pro for cleans so i might downgrade a bit from the savage se as imo it does sound better than the powerball. |
