![]() ![]() | 4x12s inside an apt So, is it really feasible to keep and use a 4x12 with say something like an invader amp inside an apartment? What I mean is that it sounds like you'd have to keep the volume knob at 0.1 out of 10 (or 11 if you're ). Can you really use it as a practice amp without having to bribe your neighbors so that they don't get you arrested for simulating earthquakes? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | if i recall correctly, Engl taylors their power sections such that you can play them quietly, and still have good tone. and, it kinda depends on your neighbors. i've had some pretty rock'n neighbors in the past. my neighbors in Cincy never minded when i'd crank my 2x12 Nomad, and my neighbor from last year actually requested it from time to time ![]() if they're the quiet types, you may want to just get some nice headphones for your Cube. or, from the headphone jack, hook your amp up into a moderately sized stereo system. noodles- "Ohio: It's Not Like We're Iowa" |

I use my SE in my attic (3rd floor) hooked up to a pair of 1x12s all the time and my wife can't even hear it on the first floor.
